Performance Audit Course

The Performance Audit course was held in Malaysia under the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) conducted by National Audit Academy. The course was funded by the Malaysian Government.

There were 23 participants from Tanzania, Swaziland, Uganda, Brunei, Thailand, Mauritius, China, Indonesia, Maldives, Philippines, Bhutan, Cambodia, Nay Pyi Taw, Seychelles, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Tonga and Fiji.
Fiji was represented by Ms. Amalaini Tikoduadua.

The two weeks long training commenced with presentations of the country papers from the various Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) represented allowing the officers from the Malaysian Audit Office and the Facilitators to evaluate the respective SAI’s development’s with regards to Performance Audit.

At the end of the course participants were provided with various audit approaches and audit methodologies that could be adopted as best practice.

The training enabled participants to learn, exchange knowledge and experiences on conducting performance auditing in the public sector.

For Ms. Tikoduadua, attending the training has allowed her to establish networking to further strengthen her professional and working relationships.
