117th International Training Program on Audit of Social Sector Schemes
The 117th International Training Programme on Audit of Social Sector Schemes was conducted at the International Centre for Information Systems and Audit (iCISA) in Noida, New Delhi, India from 13th January to 07th February 2014.
There were a total of 40 participants that attended the training with most SAI’s sending 1 – 2 participants. The only Pacific Island countries that attended the 117th Inter-national Training Programme were Fiji and Samoa.
OAG was represented by Ms. Salaseini Naidrodro.
The participants were drawn from a wide range of auditors from different Supreme Audit Institutions around the world making the sharing of ideas enriching and effective.
The interactive approach of the course-enabled participants to discuss freely and in the process, learn more about the current audit work done in respective countries.
The one (1) month training also saw academics, Members of Parliament and Non Government Organizations activists speaking about the different social sector schemes in India and its impact on the people.
The training was disseminated through lectures, group discussions and presentation, question, and answer sessions, and field visits.
