TWINNING PROGRAM BEGINS FOR OAG AND TAO

The staff of Tasmania Audit Office and the OAG Working Group began the twinning arrangement on Monday 6th June, 2016 with discussions focused around the role and activities of the working group.

The OAG Working Group to work with OAG is;

  • Sairusi Dukuno (Director of Audit)
  • Dineshwar Prasad (Act Director of Audit)
  • Raveena Kumar (Audit Manager)
  • Elina Lomaloma (Audit Manager)
  • Amalaini Tikoduadua (Senior Auditor)
  • Tomasi Daunabuna (Senior Systems Analyst)
  • Rehnuma Khan (Auditor)
  • Sairusi Bulai (Auditor)

The objective of the twinning program is to provide support to the Office of the Auditor-General of the Republic of Fiji (OAG) over a three-year period to ensure the office have in place sustainable business policies and practices to conduct efficient high-quality financial audits that comply with relevant standards and meet stakeholder requirements.

Australasian Council of Auditors-General’s (ACAG) Governance and Audit Framework for Self-Assessment and External Review was the main framework which examines corporate functions, audit practice management and conduct of financial audits with strong focus on quality control systems.

The twinning project is a three year project.
